This requirement is for On-demand Moving Services for Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) in Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
Description of the Requirement:
The Contractor must carry out the following services, but will not be limited to, the moving of full office suites, office furniture, computers, workstation systems, office equipment, filing cabinets, shelving, computer hardware, boardrooms, full kitchens, other workplace items such as fridges, microwaves; as well as packing, crating, loading, transporting, unloading, unpacking, uncrating, and cleanup at the end of each move.
This RFP contains 4 different regions within the Atlantic Region. These regions are further defined within the Annex A – Statement of Work. As such, the intention is to award a contract for each region, resulting in a maximum of 4 contracts from this RFP.
Security Requirements:
There are security requirements associated with this solicitation.
1. The Contractor must, at all times during the performance of the Contract, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
2. The Contractor personnel requiring access to sensitive site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by the CSP, PWGSC.
3. Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be awarded without the prior written permission of the CSP, PWGSC.
4. The Contractor must comply with the provisions of the:
a) Security Requirements Check List and Supplemental Security and Classification Guide (if applicable), attached at Annex D;
b) Contract Security Manual (Latest Edition).
