The National Research Council of Canada's (NRC) Centre for Drone Innovation, part of the
Drone and Flight Autonomy Laboratory, has a requirement for the supply of one (1) long endurance,
fully electric, hybrid gyroplane–helicopter vertical take-off and landing (VTOL)
remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS), Airial UAS GHX25 or equivalent, including ground
control station software, flight battery and charger, one (1) additional flight battery, and
manufacturer-provided training, suitable for the integration and deployment of specialized
scientific and remote-sensing payloads over extended survey areas and in confined, remote and
operationally demanding environments.
