This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Quebec Region Trade agreement: This procurement is not subject to any trade agreement. Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This standing offer includes security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. Correctional Service Canada (CSC) requires the services of nurses who are certified members of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) and who belong to the Association des infirmières et infirmiers en soins podologiques du Québec (AIISPQ) to provide foot care to diabetic clients in the correctional institutions in the Quebec Region; Objectives: Provide foot care services to diabetic clients, as needed, provide advice on self-care, and work with the institution’s interdisciplinary health care team which includes a general practitioner, nursing staff, dieticians, radiology services, dentists, psychiatrists, psychologists and other paramedical professionals. CSC intends to issue up to ten (10) Standing Offers, one for each institution, or any combination thereof. CSC will conduct a separate evaluation for each institution. Offerors bidding for more than one institution must provide a sufficient number of resources to be able to meet all the needs for all the institutions for which they are bidding. This may include the use of report templates provided by the Project Authority. At the Project Authority’s request, the Contractor must produce a report or contribute to regional reports. For CSC to fulfill its mandate regarding the provision of health services, the Project Authority may ask the Contractor to include comments on the provision of foot care in reports.
