Request for Standing Offer for The Assembly Services of Men’s Black Fleece Shorts This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Quebec region. Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: compliant bid with the highest combined score of socio-economic merit and price Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This standing offer does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) - CORCAN requires assembly services (cutting and sewing) for men’s black fleece shorts in various sizes, on an “as and when requested basis”. These items are products for inmates at various institutions across Canada. The shorts must be compliant with the specifications, the applicable tables and drawings, the size chart, and the sealed sample. Objective To provide assembly services for men’s black fleece shorts, in various sizes, on an ‘as and when requested basis to Laval QC as specified in the Annex A – Statement of Work. Tasks The Contractor must provide completely assembled men’s black fleece shorts, as requested, in accordance with Table 1 – Size Chart and Specifications in Annex A – Statement of Work. This includes but is not limited to, the cutting and sewing of the fabric with reference to the pictogram, pattern, size chart CORCAN provides. The fleece shorts must include an elastic and a black cord at the waist and two side pockets. Support to Contractor CSC CORCAN will provide the following supplies to the Contractor: • Black fleece fabric rolls; • Labels to sew onto the interior of the garments • MDL pattern file pictogram, pattern, and size chart. CORCAN will perform the final packaging of the fleece shorts. The Contractor must provide the following: • Elastic black or white: 38 mm or 1.5-inch knitted elastic • Cord black: 54 inch black tipped (Polyester or nylon or cotton, or mixed) • Sewing threads: black Deliverables: The Contractor must assemble, package, and ship the finished shorts in palletized boxes in accordance with the instructions in Annex A – Statement of Work. Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none. Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment.
