The RCMP National laboratories have a requirement for accreditation services. The standard under which the laboratories have been accredited is an International recognized standard: ISO/IEC 17025. The laboratories have maintained their accreditation status since their initial assessments in the years 2000-2004. The current accreditation certificate expires September 2026. The audits required for re-certification must take place on or before the month of September 2026. The contract period will be for four years from the date of contract with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to four additional one-year periods. The Contractor’s resource(s) are required to be security cleared at the level of Facility Access 2 (FA-2) with Technical Escort, as verified by the Personnel Security Unit (PSU) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Basis of selection: Highest Combined Rating of Technical Merit and Price Tenders must be submitted to the RCMP Bid Receiving Unit at: Cathia.Landry@rcmp-grc.gc.ca Refer to the attached tender documents to obtain further information. Canada retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
