Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada (CSC) has a requirement to provide Ultrasound diagnostic imaging to offenders at designated institutions within the Ontario Region, in accordance with community standards and with the essential Health Services framework.
Objectives: [Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)]
1. To provide Ultrasound diagnostic imaging services to offenders, referred to as patients in this statement of work, at the Ontario Region institutions, identified in the Location of Work. The Contractor (DMS) must conduct on-site clinics equipped to perform ultrasound diagnostics, including image acquisition, processing, and diagnostic reporting as and when requested by the Project Authority.
2. To deliver ultrasound imaging services in accordance with professional medical standards and the mandated standards of practice for ultrasound imaging in the Province of Ontario, including all relevant laws and regulations
Deliverables:
1. The Contractor (DMS) must provide ultrasound imaging services to the patient population, on site, according to the clinic schedule the Project Authority approves. This includes performing all required imaging procedures, ensuring those procedures are accurate, as part of comprehensive care for offenders. Annex B provides the overall estimated number of annual clinics.
2. The Project Authority or designate will ensure a minimum of four (4) cases are scheduled for each clinic. The Contractor must provide ultrasound diagnostic imaging services for those four (4) scheduled cases, and for up to an additional four (4) cases per clinic subject to the Contractor’s (DMS) and Project Authority’s mutual agreement.
3. The Contractor must generate clear, comprehensive diagnostic reports and clinical findings for each patient and submit finalized reports to the Project Authority or delegate within (1) one week following the clinic for routine referrals and within 24 hours for urgent referrals.

Duration of Contract and Time Frame for Delivery: Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of September 01, 2026 to August 30, 2030.
