Limited to firms on the Inuit Firm Registry (IFR). This solicitation of offer is limited to offerors registered on the Inuit Firm Registry (IFR). Background Pursuant to section 46 of the Nunavut Act, the Auditor General is required to annually audit accounts and financial statements of the Government of Nunavut. As part of this requirement, the Office of the Auditor General of Canada (the OAG) produces a variety of documents, including the annual Nunavut report, that need to be translated from English into Inuktitut, in either the North or South Baffin dialect. Objective The objective of this procurement process is for the Contractor to provide timely, consistent and reliable English to Inuktitut translation and editing services for Nunavut reports, opening statements and communication products that will be presented by the OAG to the government of Nunavut. The OAG will also require translation or editing of other types of documents varying in length and topic throughout the year, including consolidated financial statements. The Contractor will perform all work from its own facilities. No travel is anticipated for the duration of the resulting contract. In executing the work, Contractor managed devices, tools and IT services will only be used when processing unprotected information. The OAG will provide a laptop computer and access to the OAG network when the work requires access to protected information. Term The period of the Contract is from 1-April-2027 to 31-March-2029 inclusive, with the option to extend the Contract for up to two (2) additional two-year periods.
